Our story · Nossa história
Two people.
One rhythm.
A community.
We are Amanda and Anderson Peres. We created Os M Ritmos Brasileiros to share the joy of Brazilian dance — and to build the kind of place in London where people come as they are and feel they belong.
EST. 2022

It started with a simple idea: bring people together.
Brazilian rhythms gave us joy, confidence, friendship and a way to feel at home. We wanted other people to experience that too.
So in 2022, we began creating dance classes in London where technique matters, but people matter more. A space without judgement or pressure. A space to move, smile, connect and be seen.
Today, our community brings together people from different cultures and walks of life through music, movement and the warmth of Brazil.
“More than a dance school, we are a community in motion.”

Anderson
Peres
With 20 years in Brazilian rhythms, Anderson brings the energy of carnivals, shows, academies and cultural projects in Brazil and the UK into every room.
His work with older adults and people with disabilities shaped a simple conviction: dance should be accessible to everyone.

Amanda
Peres
Amanda brings 11 years of belly dance experience and a performer’s spirit, including an appearance in Disney’s Aladdin in 2019.
She helps shape the warm, supportive atmosphere where students can grow in confidence, connect with others and feel truly part of the group.
Our purpose goes
beyond the steps.
We teach Brazilian dance. But what we are really creating is connection — to culture, to confidence, to wellbeing and to one another.
A place to belong
A genuinely welcoming space where every age, body, background and experience level has a place on the dance floor.
Confidence in motion
We help people move past self-doubt, discover their own rhythm and leave class standing a little taller.
Wellbeing with joy
Movement that supports physical health, releases the stress of London life and brings real human connection.
Brazil, shared with love
The colour, warmth and variety of Brazilian rhythms — celebrated with respect and shared across cultures.
This is what we believe
You don’t need to
know the steps.
You just need to begin.
Whether you are Brazilian or simply curious about our culture, a lifelong dancer or taking your very first class — there is space for you here.
